Read this statement (dutch) from Sandra Verdonk:
Vroeger kocht ik (gif)tulpen op de Dappermarkt. 2 bossen voor 5 gulden.
Bomen vol stilleven
A spontaneous collaboration between Sandra Verdonk and Wim Hooghwinkel. On her walks or bike rides Sandra picks flowers, twigs and leaves that she encounters. At home she puts them in a vase. The vases often come from the thrift shop. Wim takes photos of these as if they were classical painted still lifes. This was not a preconceived plan but over time this resulted in an extraordinary collection that is now being brought out.
Schilderworkshop.
A painter has set up camp in Ineke and Rene’s garden and has a temporary open-air studio there. Paintings hang in the trees. What is the source of painting? Experience it yourself and make your own painting! Wim encourages you not to focus too much on the result, but to let yourself be carried away by the process.
Adres is Liergouw 55, 1026 BW Amsterdam, tuin 134.
Open from 12:00
Workshop from 14:30
